Abstract RPC Endpoint
Flat-rate Abstract RPC provider and Abstract RPC node access: free tier, no KYC, HTTP & WebSocket. Abstract mainnet chain ID 2741.
https://rpc.swiftnodes.io/rpc/abstract?key=YOUR_API_KEYwss://rpc.swiftnodes.io/ws/abstract?key=YOUR_API_KEYAbstract is an Ethereum ZK rollup built on ZKsync's ZK Stack by Igloo Inc., the parent company of Pudgy Penguins. It uses ETH for gas and targets consumer apps such as games, NFTs and social products.

6 of 12 probed RPC methods supported (archive, batch, debug_traceCall, eth_getBlockReceipts). The gaps are listed per chain in the method support matrix.

Abstract developer facts, measured
- Block time:
- ~1.99 s (average of the last 1,000 blocks)
- eth_getLogs range:
- 50,000-block ranges accepted (the largest we test)
- Historical state:
- readable at least 1,000,000 blocks back

About Abstract
Abstract opened its mainnet to the public in January 2025. It runs on the ZK Stack, posts data to Ethereum as blobs, and proves state with STARK proofs wrapped in SNARKs. Users typically interact through the Abstract Global Wallet, a smart contract wallet built on native account abstraction that signs in with email, social accounts or passkeys.
Abstract runs the ZKsync VM rather than the EVM, so its bytecode differs from Ethereum's. Developers should expect differences in contract deployment, some opcodes and precompiles, gas refunds and nonce handling, and should compile with ZKsync-compatible tooling. Standard JSON-RPC reads such as eth_call and eth_getLogs work as usual.
Common Use Cases on Abstract
- Onchain games
- NFT collections and marketplaces
- Social and consumer apps
- Smart-wallet onboarding with Abstract Global Wallet

Frequently Asked Questions: Abstract
What is the Abstract chain ID?
Abstract mainnet uses chain ID 2741 (hex 0xab5).
Is Abstract fully EVM-equivalent?
No. Abstract runs the ZKsync VM, which uses different bytecode. Solidity contracts work, but deployment, some opcodes and precompiles, gas refunds and nonces behave differently, so contracts should be built with ZKsync-compatible compilers.
What is the gas token on Abstract?
ETH. Abstract is a ZK Stack rollup that settles to Ethereum.
