About Gravity Alpha
Gravity Alpha Mainnet launched in August 2024 as the first phase of moving Galxe's products, including Quest, Compass and Passport, on-chain. Galxe announced Gravity L1 in July 2026 and set November 1, 2026 as Alpha's deprecation date. After that date, assets left on Alpha will no longer be transferable.
Alpha behaves like other Arbitrum Nitro chains, with standard EVM JSON-RPC on chain ID 1625. Developers should treat it as a migration source: bridge assets to Gravity L1 (chain ID 127001) or Ethereum and redeploy contracts there before the cutoff.
Common Use Cases on Gravity Alpha
- Reading historical Galxe on-chain activity
- Bridging assets out before deprecation
- Migrating contracts to Gravity L1
- Unstaking G before the November 2026 cutoff
