About Flow EVM

Flow is a Layer 1 blockchain designed for consumer applications, NFTs and games. Flow EVM adds an Ethereum-compatible execution environment so teams can use Solidity, MetaMask and familiar JSON-RPC tooling alongside Flow's native ecosystem.

The EVM environment uses FLOW as its gas token and exposes standard eth_* methods. Check Flow's bridge and finality documentation before moving assets between Flow EVM and other networks.
