Best BSC RPC Providers (2026): Pricing, Free Tiers and Limits Compared
BNB Smart Chain is one of the busiest EVM chains and one of the least forgiving on the RPC side. Blocks arrive every 0.45 seconds, most nodes keep under a minute of state, and log-range limits vary from one endpoint to the next, so code that works against an Ethereum provider can fail on BSC in ways that only show up under load.
This compares seven providers with prices checked on their pricing pages on October 6, 2026. We run one of them (SwiftNodes); its limits below were measured the same day, and on BSC several of them count against us.
BSC on an RPC endpoint, measured
- Block time: 0.451 s (1,000-block average), about 192,000 blocks a day
- Finality:
finalizedtrails the head by 1 to 2 blocks, under a second (batchedlatest/safe/finalizedreads) - Default state window: only 64 blocks (about 29 seconds). Older state reads fail with
state ... is pruned, and our BSC route has no archive upstream (archive=1returns "No archive node available for this chain") eth_getLogs: 1,000-block and 5,000-block ranges each succeeded 10 of 10 times; 10,000 blocks succeeded 6 of 10. One upstream in our pool caps requests at 150 blocks, and our proxy now retries those on another upstream (before that fix, 1,000-block ranges succeeded only 4 of 10). Page at 5,000 blocks (about 38 minutes of chain) on our route- Tracing:
trace_blockanddebug_traceTransactioneach answered 3 of 6 spot checks;eth_getBlockReceiptsanswered 6 of 6. Treat tracing on our BSC route as unreliable for now
The providers at a glance
| Provider | Billing unit | Free tier | Entry paid plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| SwiftNodes | Flat rate by requests per second | 2 req/s, 250K requests/month | $49/mo, 50 req/s, unlimited volume |
| Dwellir | 1 credit per response | 100K responses/day, 20/s | $49/mo, 25M responses |
| Chainstack | 1 RU per call, 2 for archive | 3M RU/month, 25 RPS | $49/mo, 20M RU |
| dRPC | Compute units / requests | 210M CU/month, public nodes | Pay as you go, $6 per 1M requests |
| QuickNode | API credits (20 per call on BSC) | 10M-credit trial | $49/mo, 80M credits |
| Alchemy | Compute units (27 CU average) | 30M CU/month, 25 req/s | Pay as you go, $0.525 per 1M CU |
| Infura | Credits (eth_call 80, eth_getLogs 255) | 3M credits/day | $50/mo, 15M credits/day |
Dwellir also sells an "Unlimited Node", a flat-rate endpoint from $119/month at 25 req/s, which is worth pricing alongside ours if you want flat billing; confirm what it includes on BSC before buying.
What 100M requests a month cost
Assumptions: eth_call-class reads at each provider's published per-call weight. Infura does not publish a separate BSC table; its docs say networks without their own values use the Ethereum credit costs.
| Provider | 100M requests/month |
|---|---|
| SwiftNodes | $49 to $89 (Starter if peaks stay under 50 req/s, Growth at 150 req/s) |
| Dwellir | $299 (Growth, 150M responses) |
| Chainstack | ~$449 (Pro + 20M RU); archive calls count double |
| dRPC | ~$600 |
| QuickNode | $999 (Business, 2B credits) |
| Alchemy | ~$1,418 |
| Infura | Enterprise (the $225 Team plan covers about 28M eth_calls a month) |
The BSC-specific point: block count drives call count. At 192,000 blocks a day, an indexer that fetches eth_getBlockReceipts once per block makes about 5.8 million calls a month just to keep up. And because state is so shallow, any read a minute or more into the past is an archive read, so check whether the price you are comparing includes BSC archive at all.
Picking by workload
Trading bots and arbitrage. Low latency and fresh heads matter more than price. Test from the region your bot runs in; in our weekly test, working public BSC endpoints ranged from 9 ms to 835 ms from Europe.
Indexers. Check the log range per call before anything else. Chainstack documents a 100-block eth_getLogs cap on its free plan and 10,000 blocks on Growth; Dwellir lists 10,000 blocks on Growth and Scale. On our route, plan on 5,000.
Historical, tracing and forensic work. You need a BSC archive node with trace_* or debug_*. Our BSC route does not serve archive state today, so for this workload pick a provider that confirms BSC archive and tracing on the plan you are buying.
Low-volume apps. Metered free tiers go far: Alchemy's 30M CU is about 1.1 million average calls a month, and dRPC's free public nodes allow 100 req/s.
The free public endpoints
We test public BSC endpoints weekly from Europe. In the latest run 36 of 49 HTTP endpoints answered correctly, but 30 of the 35 working third-party endpoints could not read state 128 blocks back, and only 4 accepted a 10,000-block log range. The official bsc-dataseed.bnbchain.org endpoints answered in about 30 ms but rejected a 1,000-block eth_getLogs range. The full list is on our public BSC RPC page.
Prices change often; these were taken from each provider's pricing page on October 6, 2026: Alchemy, QuickNode (credits), Chainstack (limits), Infura (credit costs), dRPC, Dwellir. For BSC RPC usage in depth, see BNB Smart Chain RPC: A 2026 Developer's Guide; for BNB's L2, see the opBNB RPC developer guide.
SwiftNodes serves BNB Smart Chain over HTTPS and WebSocket at one flat monthly price; archive state on BSC is not available on our route yet. Endpoints and measured method support are on the BSC RPC page, and SwiftNodes has a free tier to try it.
