About B2 Network
B² Mainnet launched in April 2024. Its design has two layers: the B² Rollup, an EVM-compatible ZK rollup that runs smart contracts, and the B² Hub, which provides data availability and settlement on Bitcoin and writes rollup data to Bitcoin using Taproot scripts.
Developers deploy with standard EVM tooling on chain ID 223. Native balances are denominated in BTC with 18 decimals. Users bridge BTC from Bitcoin, and account abstraction links EVM addresses to Bitcoin addresses, which affects how wallets and indexers attribute activity.
