RPC Method Support Matrix

Not every chain serves every JSON-RPC method — and finding out usually means a confusing method not found in production. This matrix is tested automatically every week: each cell is a real probe sent through the same path customer requests take (auth, routing, and failover included), against every EVM chain SwiftNodes serves. No hand-maintained claims.

means the method is served (including cases where the node correctly rejects our deliberately-minimal probe parameters — that still proves the method is wired up). means the method is unavailable on that chain’s current upstreams. Archiveprobes historical state at block 1 via our archive routing (&archive=1). Non-EVM chains (Solana, Cosmos, Bitcoin family, and others) speak different RPC dialects entirely — see their individual chain pages.

Want to run these probes against any endpoint yourself (including your own node)? That’s exactly what our open-source CLI does: npx rpc-doctor <url> github.com/swiftnodes/rpc-doctor.

Every chain above is served under one API key at flat-rate pricing — HTTP + WebSocket, archive on paid plans, free tier with no KYC. Grab a key at swiftnodes.io.
