Lens Chain mainnet launched on April 4, 2025, migrating over 650,000 profiles and about 125 GB of protocol data from Polygon PoS without user action. It runs on ZKsync's ZK Stack, posting transaction roots to Ethereum and full data to Avail. In January 2026 Mask Network became the steward of Lens, with the original team moving to an advisory role; the chain itself was not changed.
Lens Chain inherits ZKsync behavior, including native account abstraction, and the docs support Hardhat, Foundry, Viem and Ethers. Gas is priced in GHO, so fees are effectively USD-denominated.
