Moca Chain was announced in June 2025 and launched mainnet on September 29, 2026, after its original Q4 2025 target slipped. It provides shared infrastructure for organizations to issue, verify, update and revoke portable credentials, such as a passed KYC check or a membership, without users sharing their full data.
