About Pharos
Pharos launched its Pacific Ocean mainnet and the PROS token in April 2026, after a testnet that processed 4.3 billion transactions. The chain separates execution, consensus, data availability and settlement, and runs transactions in parallel using speculative execution.
Pharos supports standard EVM contracts and tooling, and launched with native USDC and Circle's CCTP. Its ecosystem is aimed at tokenized financial products, stablecoins and compliant finance, so expect institutional issuers and RWA protocols among its applications.
Common Use Cases on Pharos
- Real-world asset tokenization
- Stablecoin payments and settlement
- Native USDC transfers via CCTP
- DeFi on tokenized financial products
