Method reference
JSON-RPC batching
Not a method — a transport feature. Send a JSON array of call objects in one HTTP request and receive an array of responses, one per call. Batching collapses N round-trips into one, which matters whenever you read many values per block (token balances, receipts, logs).
SwiftNodes counts a batch as a single request against your plan's rate limit. Responses can arrive out of order — match them by the id field.
Example request
curl -s https://rpc.swiftnodes.io/rpc/eth?key=YOUR_API_KEY \
-X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '[{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[]},{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":2,"method":"eth_gasPrice","params":[]}]'Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your SwiftNodes key (free tier available).
